Halton Catholic School Board has selected the schools housing full day kindergarten. With the introduction of full-day kindergarten by the Province, both the Catholic School board and Public School board have been asked to provide a list of schools.

The Halton Catholic District School Board has selected the following elementary schools in the first phase. They are:
- Our Lady of Fatima – Milton
- St. Peter Catholic – Milton
- Holy Rosary – Burlington
- St. Patrick – Burlington
- St. John – Burlington
- St. Luke – Oakville
- St. James – Oakville
For the following year, the following schools will be added to the list:
- St. Catherine of Alexandria – Halton Hills
- St. Joseph – Acton
The Provincial Ministry of Education will provide final approval by Jan. 15th, 2010.
The full-time kindergarten program is to be phased in over 5 years. School boards must find schools for the first year that have classroom space because no additional funding is being provided for building/renovating during the first year.
