Measuring Up – Seminar on School Accountability extends early-bird registration price

The Society for Quality Education is extending the early-bird registration price for their seminar called Accountability – Seminar on School taking place on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre, 525 Bay Street Toronto.

The seminar at a glance consists of the following:

8:00 – Registration

8:30 – Coffee/Tea

9:00 – Session 1: “The Cartel” Screening Canadian Premiere of the 2009 award winning documentary, written and directed by Bob Bowdon, on investigating public education in the United States and how a widespread national crisis manifests itself in the educational failures and frustrations of individual communities.

10:30 – Break

10:45 – Panel Discussion
Discussion Topic: Are Toronto Schools like Those in The Cartel? Are we headed there?

Gerry Nicholls, Political Consultant and former vice-president of the National Citizens Coalition

Panelists:
