The new hospital is about to get a $10 million jumpstart being announced at a special event next week.
The state-of-the-art facility requires the Oakville Hospital Foundation to raise $60 million privately. The $10 million donation, said to be the largest the OHF has ever received, is a healthy start.
Our hospital will be the first to be built using the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care’s new design guidelines.
It promises to hold approximately 40,000 pieces of equipment.
The community has outgrown its current hospital.
