Bronte Creek oil cleanup methods considered

The Bronte Creek spill is still causing issues for Oakville. Gasoline spilling out of the Trans-Northern Pipelines Inc. pipe into Bronte Creek was more serious than first believed. Containers were setup following the spill and an environmental cleanup was required by the Town of Oakville.
Palermo school gets a name

The Halton District School Board trustees selected a name for the new school in the Palermo/Bronte Creek community. The new school will be called the Palermo Public School and should be easy for the kids to remember. [Read more...]
