Work Continues at Loyola

Following the ruling that additional lighting requires a site plan, work is continuing at St. Ignatius of Loyola. The $1.7 million projects includes replacing the 6-lane track with 8-lanes, grass turf replaced with all-weather artificial turf, adding field logos, and general clean up.

Catholic School Board Believes Lighting Not Subject to Site Plan Approval

The recent decision by the Town of Oakville to require site plan approval for additional lighting at St. Ignatius of Loyala Catholic Secondary School has resulted in a legal challenge put forth at the Ontario Municipal Board.
